What can the audience expect from the show?
“We’re gonna play songs from our album “Romantic”, at least five brand new songs and whatever songs we can still stand from the first collection of songs.”

What merch do you bring?
“Oh, we are absolutely bringing merch and good christ I hope you all buy it. Touring in Europe is expensive, oh my god. We are bringing some brand new t-shirts that were designed by Daniel Hughes, and we’re bringing the final copies of the first pressing of our record. It just went into its second pressing! Maybe some pins? Probably some tie-dye?”

Which song do you prefer performing live?
“The new songs are the exciting ones right now. These songs haven’t been recorded yet so the live show is where we’re molding them into their final form. Some of these songs I’m still playing with melody and lyrics, others I’m trying out slightly different guitar lines to see what really feels right. They’re all close though, they already feel great.”

How have your most recent concerts been?
“We’ve played some great shows recently. Boston, Brooklyn, Philadelphia – all of our last shows have been sold out so there’s been a ton of people to play for which always makes a show feel more alive. But here, more people know us, they know we won’t disappoint them. I’m interested to see how touring Europe will be – we’ve never even been to Aarhus before! Or any of the cities we’ll be playing for. For all the sold out shows we’ve been playing in the states, I’m emotionally preparing to play for like 10 people in a bar on the other side of the ocean too, just in case.”

How would you describe your bandmates?
“No one has ever asked me this before! Ok, this is easy. Kaleen is the drummer in Mannequin Pussy and she fucking loves drums. You wanna talk to Kaleen just bring up drums/drumming, Metallica, or anything in the Star Wars multiverse (is Star Wars a multiverse? I don’t know but it would be cool if it was, i’ll text Kaleen and ask her). Bear plays bass and loves to smoke weed. So if you wanna hang with him, offer to smoke him up and maybe talk about like, early 2000’s emo bands?? Thanasi plays guitar and loves to drink and you should bring up chess (if there is a pool table challenge him to a game) or classical music or literally anything that someone who was born in the 1700’s might have known. And me? I’m hard to crack I’m probably just trying to sleep in the green room.”

Which live act (band and/or artist) is your favorite – and why?
“Oh, this is hard. I really don’t have any favorites. My current fantasy concert would be seeing Kendrick Lamar. I’ve been on a YouTube hole of watching live videos of his performances recently. We’re playing the Made in America festival this year in Philadelphia and I have to admit I was really disappointed when I didn’t see his name on the line up.”

What are your plans for the summer and autumn?
“After this European tour we’re doing a 10 day run with Cherry Glazerr in August, playing a few summer festivals in the US, going on a five week tour in September/October. And then doing another short two week run of shows to play some fall festivals in November. By winter we’ll be ready to start recording the next record. It feels good to be this busy, this is all we really want to do.”
